About Me

I am to be a tenure-track associate professor at School of Biomedical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University from spring of 2026. Now, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Institute for Biomedical Engineering, ETH Zurich, Switzerland, working with Prof. Marco Stampanoni. I obtained my Ph.D. degree from Department of Computer Science, ETH Zurich, Switzerland in Dec. 2024. Where I was supervised by Prof. Joachim M. Buhmann from ETH Zurich, Prof. Antony J. Lomax and Dr. Ye Zhang from Paul Scherrer Institut (with one of the world leading proton therapy center). Before that I received my master’s degree from the Peking University, China, in Jul. 2020, advised by Prof. Hong Liu and Prof. Zhouchen Lin. Besdies, I got bachelor’s degree from School of Computer Science, Beijing University of Posts and Communications, China, in Jul. 2017. I have been an intern at Bytedance and Google.

Research
Research overview
My research drives the vision of MedAPT (Medical AI for Precision Therapy), positioning artificial intelligence as the catalyst for next-generation cancer care. I focus on bridging the gap between data-driven generative models and physical laws to solve complex medical inverse problems. My ultimate goal of my research is to reducing the cost of precision therapy (especially proton therapy) from the algorithm perspective, and make it affordable by average people.
